Camille Cooper, Assicoate

Camille joined the firm in September 2017.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Cooper practices primarily business litigation, but also brings her litigator's mindset to contract negotiations, strategic planning, and the like. Prior to joining the firm, Camille was a solo practitioner. Before working in solo practice, Camille worked as in-house counsel at Siemens from 2010-2013, an associate at Littler from 2008-2010, and an associate at Jones Day from 2006-2008.

Camille’s practice encompasses business and employment litigation and corporate transactions, with a focus in health care, entertainment, and hospitality sectors. She has handled a variety of claims, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, covenants not to compete, discrimination claims, medical malpractice, and contract negotiations and disputes. She also counsels businesses, employers, and physicians on corporate formation and governance issues and development of internal policies and procedures. She represents entrepreneurs, employers, and physicians, in negotiations and/or proceedings before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Medical Board, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
