Paul W. Denney, Of Counsel
Mr. Denney joined the Law Offices of David T. Denney, PC in January, 2008. Prior to joining the firm Paul was an associate with Hughes & Luce, LLP from 2004-2007. Before working with Hughes and Luce he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ed Kinkeade, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas from 2003-2004.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Denney’s practice focuses on labor and employment litigation and commercial litigation.
Representative Experience
• Assisted in the representation of corporate clients in cases brought by former employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Assisted in the representation of a corporation in discrimination, retaliation, and defamation suit brought by former employee
• Assisted in the representation of a corporation in case brought by former employee alleging tortious interference with contract
• Assisted in the representation of defendant in case brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, obtaining favorable judgments before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
• Assisted in the representation of a defendant facing foreclosure of its property based on alleged non-compliance with commercial loan agreements
• Assisted in the representation of various entities before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
